Your Voice Matters. Your Child Does Too.

Advocacy that meets you where you are — with heart, clarity, and real-world support.

Navigating IEPs, 504 plans, evaluations, and school meetings can feel overwhelming, confusing, and lonely. Voice for Change Consulting was created for exactly these moments — to offer calm guidance, clear strategies, and compassionate support from someone who gets it.

You're not just doing paperwork — you're fighting for your child. I’m here to make sure you don’t have to do it alone.

How Voice for Change Began

Homeschooling

Voice for Change Consulting was born from experience — not a textbook or a professional title, but from the lived reality of being a parent in the special education system.

I’m Melissa, and for years I sat in IEP meetings trying to understand what the reports were really saying — wondering if I was asking the right questions, if I was advocating “hard enough,” and if anyone truly saw my child for who they were. I wasn’t a consultant back then. I was a mom trying to figure it all out while holding everything together.

Over time, I learned the language. I found my footing. And most importantly, I realized I wasn’t the only one who felt overwhelmed, unheard, and exhausted. That’s when Voice for Change began — as a way to help other families walk into those same rooms with confidence, clarity, and someone in their corner.
